Moles's Chamber Exmoor
Moles's Chamber Exmoor
1 review
The afternoon light catches the trees as a small stream flows on. In 1841, the Acland Arms was sited within Exmoor Forest, an "isolated and supposedly disreputable hostelry" situated at Moles Chamber. It gave up its licence through lack of trade soon after 1883. Jeremiah Smith (or Smyth) was born in Simonsbath in 1830.

R
Robert Smyth A good print which arrived quickly. It is a gift for my brother. The subject, Moles Chamber, was the site of my great grandfather's pub and small holding.
